Check out the video below of the Sony Mavica digital camera from 1997 that used a floppy disk as its “SD” card. It had a resolution of 0.3MP and could store a whopping 40 images on a 1.44MB Floppy disk! It’s big brother could even store UP TO 60 SECONDS of video. Digital cameras have certainly come a long way since then.
